How we create, review, and correct technical information on IP Tracker Tools.

How We Create Content

Tool pages and guides explain networking concepts and how to use our free utilities. Content is drafted to match what the tools actually do in this codebase. We prefer primary technical references (RFCs, RIR docs, IANA registries) over secondary blog summaries when describing standards.

We do not invent certifications, awards, partnerships, or accuracy percentages. When something cannot be verified from code or authoritative documentation, we say so.

Technical Sources

Depending on the topic, we consult primary sources such as:

Primary references we may cite

Individual tools also document live data providers in each tool's technical information section and on Methodology.

Corrections

If you find a factual error, report it via our contact form or [email protected]. Include the page URL and a short description. We review reports and update pages when a correction is confirmed.

Updates

Networking standards and provider APIs change. We revise tool explanations when implementations change. Public product changes may also appear on our changelog.

AI Usage

Some drafting may be assisted by AI tools. AI output is not published as-is for technical claims: wording is checked against the site's actual tool behavior and against authoritative references where standards are described.
